Fritz will be tasked with overseeing and advancing MGM Resorts’ diversification strategy through acquisitions and digital platform expansion, including growth and innovation on its sports betting and iGaming platform, BetMGM.

    • Live casino supplier OnAir Entertainment has announced a strategy to enter the US market in 2023 with five state launches. The business is currently live in nine markets but plans to enter states that permit online casino, launching games localized for the US market.

    • West Flagler Associates, the ownership group of two Florida pari-mutuels, filed its first brief with the D.C. Court of Appeals. The filing argued against the Department of the Interior’s claim that District Court Judge Dabney Friedrich erred in her decision to invalidate the 2021 Florida gaming compact, as well as the Seminole Tribe’s motion to intervene in the case.

    • Cuyahoga County is getting a head start on helping problem gamblers. This week, the county’s common pleas court announced the Problem Gambling Addiction Program (PGAP) launch. The initiative will allow certain gamblers convicted of crimes to clear their conviction after completing the program. It is the first of its kind.
