Coalition of Canadian Gaming Corporations Announces Efforts to End Illegal Gambling

This week, a coalition of Canadian Gaming Corporations announced collective efforts to end illegal/unauthorized gambling in their respective provinces.
Part of the coalition’s aim is to raise public awareness about the prevalence of “illegal” operators and convince media platform owners to comply with existing laws and regulations by refusing to accept advertisements for illegal gambling websites. The coalition is also asking the federal government to enforce current laws and regulations to shut out these operators from markets where the Provincial Lottery Corporations operate.
