Georgia Bill to Take Sports Betting to the Ballot Clears Committee

The bill to take sports betting to the ballot cleared Committee on February 13 and could pass the full Senate soon.
The House still must act on the enabling legislation and the constitutional amendment (CA). It is becoming more likely that the only bill that can pass the Georgia House will have a CA requirement, which means that it will go to the ballot in November for voter approval.
