Hawaii Sports Betting Bill Heads to Conference Committee

A conference committee is needed for the House and Senate to work out their differences on the bill, however the lawmakers who will serve on the committee have not yet been appointed.
Time is running out as decisions on bills need to be made by April 25th in order to receive a final vote in the legislature on April 30 or May 2nd. There is the potential that lawmakers will not reach agreement in this committee.
The bill would authorize a minimum of 4 online operators and says that qualified applicants must be operational in at least 3 states.
