iDEA Continues to Engage with Illinois Gaming Stakeholders

The goal is to build a coalition of support around iGaming and coordination for a industry “fly-in” to meet with lawmakers on the subject.
Recent conversations with Caesars, Penn and Hawthorne have been very positive. We are also working directly with the head of the state casino association.
Due to a possible special session in September, the timing of our “fly-in” may be impacted. A possible move to November during the veto session may be necessary.
Also, we have compiled information about supplier fees nationwide to share with the governor’s office. We plan to send a letter soon.
