IL: Caliente is Only Company to Move Forward In License Process

On 04/28 the Illinois Gaming Board announced that only one company (Caliente) will move forward in a process to award a mobile-only license for sports betting in the state. Up to three licenses are available under the law.
The Illinois Legislature has adjourned. The Legislature will be coming back in November for a veto session. iDEA led bill to reduce the supplier licensing fees passed the Senate, but did not get heard in the House.
