Maryland Legislature Considers iGaming Expansion Through Multiple Bills

February 13, 2026

Maryland has introduced bills in the Senate and House related to iGaming.

Bills SB 885 regarding iGaming and iBingo, SB 884 regarding iPoker only, and another bill which is required to create language for a ballot referendum have been introduced by Senator Watson. The House bill HB 1343 was introduced by Del. Young and is based off the Del. Atterbeary bill that was debated last year. A summary of the SB 885 is on the Member Portal.

While the chances of passage of these bills are low, we are working to ensure that iGaming is well positioned during the hearing process, which will take place March 11. We are engaging with Senate and House members and will be heading to Annapolis to do meetings. We plan to testify on the bills.
