Massachusetts Gaming Commission FAQs

At its meeting this week the MA Gaming Commission spent some time answer questions about certain types of wagers, with a focus on bets involving Massachusetts teams. The Commission has posted the questions and the answers on the FAQ page.
The Commission also determined the Massachusetts boundaries for Category 3 sports wagering geofencing purposes. A couple of things to note:
*Massachusetts bettors can wager on a boat as long as it’s within three miles of the shoreline.
*The tribal lands of two tribes in Massachusetts will be marked as separate, sovereign territories per geofencing rules.
