Massachusetts Waiver to Data Privacy Regulation Requirements for Sports Betting Operators

The Massachusetts Gaming Commission (MGC) issued a waiver to the data privacy regulation requirements for sports betting to November 17, 2023 (originally set to be effective Sep 1).
During the waiver period, sports betting operators are asked to provide further details and implementation plans/timelines for meeting regulation requirements (see regulations previously posted to Member Portal here).
A roundtable discussion will be held soon to facilitate further discussion around data privacy and the data privacy regulation for operators.
