MD Lawmakers Express Concern Regarding Proposed Sports Betting Rules

The Maryland Register published on 10/18 did not include any of the proposed rules related to sports wagering/DFS/promotion deductions.
The next Register will publish on 11/01. We understand that some lawmakers have expressed concern that the rules could get reviewed and put on “hold” by the Committee on Administrative, Executive & Legislative Review, which has legislative oversight over all proposed regulations.
