MGC Continues Its Review of Operator License Applications

The Commission will begin to vote on untethered Cat. 3 applicants on Jan. 18.
The Commission held a discussion on the permitted sports betting
catalog. A vote on the final permitted sports betting catalog will take
place on Jan. 20.
The Commission voted that it has the authority to allow or disallow
operators to deduct promo play. The vote was 3-2. More discussion
will take place at a later Commission meeting to determine if
deductions are allowed.
The Commission announced the appointment of Bruce Band to lead
the Commission’s newly established Sports Wagering Division.
