Michigan Joins Multi-State Poker Compact

March 22, 2022

Some good news to share from last week. The Michigan Gaming Control Board has announced that it is laying the ground work for licensed operators to enter the multi-state agreement that allows shared online poker liquidity.

This document provides guidance regarding tasks an operator or platform provider may need to complete and other items an operator or platform provider may need to consider before the MGCB will authorize the commencement of multistate poker.

By entering into the compact, Michigan, will effectively double the size of the existing multi-state pool that currently includes Nevada, Delaware and New Jersey.
