Mississippi Introduces New Sports Betting Bill

A sports betting bill has been introduced.
It is HB 682, sponsored by Rep. Burnett. The bill was referred to the House Gaming Committee. Rep. Burnett sponsored a similar bill last session that didn’t make it out of committee.
The bill that advanced in the legislative process and ultimately died in conference committee last session was sponsored by Rep. Eure. To date, Rep. Eure, who chairs the House Gaming Committee, hasn’t re-introduced his bill in this new legislative session.
