Missouri: iDEA Bolsters Advocacy Efforts in the State

Several bills related to sports betting, and one related to iGaming, have been introduced in both chambers of the legislature.
There is a concerted effort to separate sports betting from the VGT/VLT issue, in part in response to an initiative filed by the professional sports franchises in Missouri, to put one of several sports betting questions on the ballot for the 2022 elections.
We are told that the sports teams and the casino association are in deep discussions and nearing agreement.
iDEA has retained Scott Swain to represent us in Missouri. He will be talking with industry lobbyists in the state and positioning iDEA in the process of advancing legislation in Jefferson City.
