Missouri Sports Betting Petition Collects Over 300k Signatures

Proponents of a ballot measure to legalize sports betting announced this week that they have already collected more than 300k signatures. Only 180k are needed to get on the ballot.
Missouri sports teams and some OSB operators are leading the efforts. We anticipate that casinos could actively oppose the ballot initiative because it would remove their current exclusivity on gaming in the state. Here is a link to the petition language.
