NC Next Steps: License Application Numbers Mentioned + Two Approved Test Labs

The NC Commission held a meeting on 1/4 where they confirmed that up to 7 companies applied for licenses by the Dec 27 deadline. They also approved two independent test labs (GLI and BMM).
Operators will need to submit their internal controls policies by the end of January. They did not issue a firm launch date, but we still believe that mid-March is when they are targeting.
The next full-Lottery Commission meeting is scheduled for January 10, 2024 at 10am EST.
We anticipate that additional information impacting the market will be released in the coming weeks and we will analyze and share through the Portal.
