OCCC Announces 1st Draft of Type C Sports Lottery Proprietor Application
While most iDEA members are not going to be applying for the Type C Application, it may give some insight as to how the other Type A and B applications will be structured, which appears to be giving applicants the responsibility of drafting language to reflect meeting the statutory and rule-based criteria for approval rather than having a more ‘check the box’ format.
The CCC is set to meet on May 4th with the fifth and final batch of rules up for approval and forwarding to the Lt. Governor’s Common Sense Initiative. Comments to be filed with the CSI on Batch 4 are due May 4th.

iDEA continues to monitor both rules and comments submitted on the rules to see which issues raised by members may need legislative intervention due to the limiting language of the statutes.
