OCCC Proposes Rule for Mandatory Live Photo or Video Analysis to Confirm Players’ Identity

The Ohio Casino Control Commission has updated a proposed rule to modify how online sportsbook operators must KYC players.
This proposed rule would include a mandatory “live photo or video analysis” to confirm identity. Once approved, it would apply to all new customers while existing customers would need to be re-verified in this manner within 6mo. More info on the new rule from the OCCC can be found here.
