Ohio Appoints Senate / House Negotiators for Sports Betting

It was announced this week that the House/Senate negotiators on sports betting have been appointed. Legislative leaders have stated that they would like to have final negotiated deal before the end of October.
Based on conversations with lawmakers, it does not appear that the House and Senate are far apart on an agreement and it is likely that most negotiations will go on behind closed doors and then presented to stakeholder during public meeting of the conference committee.
