Ohio iGaming Bill SB197 Hearing (Link to Recording)

On 05/22 the Senate Committee held the 2nd hearing on its omnibus gaming modernization bill, SB 197, which updates the sports wagering law (in some areas) and includes iGaming and iLottery.
Witnesses, including iDEA, focused their remarks only on the iGaming section of the bill and all raised concerns with the proposed tax rate, license fee and market access. The witnesses were proponents and interested parties (no opponents permitted) and the lawmakers seemed open to learn and asked good questions.
