Ohio Legislative Session Nearing Close for Summer
With the General Assembly going on Spring Break, time is beginning to run down on the number of legislative sessions before the GA breaks for the summer and election season. This means that any legislative fixes need to happen sooner rather than later. Public comments for the proposed rules all seem to be reflecting the same concerns, which has led to some significant changes, including the elimination of the proposal to ban advertising on uniforms. Typically, the progress on rule enactment is hindered by the summer break but it is expected that the Joint Committee on Agency Rule Review (JCARR) would make it a point to meet and move the rules forward during a summer meeting.
