Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt Announces a Sports Betting Proposal

Governor Stitt’s proposal will have retail sports betting conducted by federally recognized Oklahoma tribes.

The tax rate will 15%. Tribal sports betting will be pursuant to a state-tribal gaming compact. Online sports betting will be offered by licensed sports betting operators. Operators would pay an initial licensing fee of $500,000 and be required to pay an annual licensing fee of $100,000. The tax rate will be 20%.
