Ontario: IGO Issues Draft Contract for Operators

The IGO recently issued their draft contract for operators, but it can only be viewed by current applicants who have signed an NDA. Accordingly, iDEA has not seen it, and iDEA members who have seen are not able to share any detailed information about it currently.
We have a general understanding that it is a significant departure from the “light touch” regulatory approach advanced by AGCO, and that it contains sufficient uncertainty and heavy-handed regulation that some operators are reconsidering their decision to seek licenses in Ontario.
