Ontario Updates, Plus Potential Launch Date Announcement Expected Soon

The Justice and Finance ministries continue to wrestle with (and resist) the push from Great Canadian to turn Ontario into a tethered market.
The question remains whether GC’s gambit will significantly delay launch of the market. It is possible that some announcement may be imminent.
iDEA’s members who support a timely launch of the market have been encouraged to send letters to the Attorney General and the Minister of Finance, and several have done so.
iDEA has sent its own letter refuting GCG’s assertions which was well-received by the regulators. A copy of the iDEA letter is available here.
