Rhode Island House and Senate Pass iGaming Bills

The House of Representatives passed both substituted bills, and the Senate concurred with the changes to the Senate bill and passed the House bill. Both bills have been sent to the Governor. If signed into law, the bills will take effect on March 1, 2024. Note: While only one of these bills must go through the entire legislative process to become law, in Rhode Island, it is not uncommon for both the identical Senate and House versions to be enacted into law.
