SD Sports Betting Legislation Moves to House Floor

In South Dakota, legislation to put sports betting legalization on the ballot this November is moving through the Senate to the House floor.
SJR 504 would require tethering with Deadwood casinos and that servers must be located within the city of Deadwood.
The bill passed the Senate Taxation Committee and will now go to the House floor. A potential House floor vote on the bill could take place the week of Feb 9. iDEA will continue to monitor the legislation.
