Tensions Rise Between Stakeholders in Minnesota

Lawmakers are still working towards an agreement that satisfies the state gaming tribes, the horse tracks and the charitable gaming (pull tab) groups.
A lawsuit filed this week by a track claiming that the tribes are offering gambling games outside the scope of their compact is deepening tensions between the stakeholders. We expect the bills to remain in neutral until the tracks and tribes can agree on a path forward.
