Update from MD SWARC Meeting 6/29

The SWARC met on 06/29 and shared that the state has not yet completed the disparity study (as expected) however they are drafting and reviewing regulations and applications for the SWARC licensing process. The hope to have final version approved by their next meeting in July.
The chair of SWARC said they hope to applications ready by end of summer.
Three weeks ago MD Governor Larry Hogan sent a letter to the SWARC imploring them to expedite mobile licensing and launch. His letter can be found here.
iDEA continues to monitor activity of the SWARC and MD Lottery and also communicates with these bodies as needed.
