On November 30, Sen. Peter Harckham sponsored S9605 to amend the “racing, pari-mutuel wagering and breeding law.”
The proposed legislation calls for the New York State Gaming Commission (NYSGC) “to promulgate rules and regulations regarding predatory sportsbook bonuses in mobile sports betting, including but not limited to, deposit matching, risk-free betting, free money, free bets, site credits, and profit boosts.” Background information can be accessed here.
