(Updated) Still No Decision Yet in Florida Federal Court Hearing

On 11/5, a federal court hearing challenging the tribal compact occurred but no decision will be rendered by the judge. The judge gave government attorneys defending the compact until 11/9 to file supplemental briefs. A summary of the govt’s arguments can be found here. The judge intended to issue a ruling on November 15, but as of 1pm EST on 11/19, the judge has not issued a ruling.
The judge is expected to issue her decision next week. The ballot initiative to bring more competition to the FL sports betting market continues to gather signatures.
