Senate Bill 592, the online sports betting bill, was formally introduced in the Wisconsin Legislature. It was referred to the Committee on Agriculture and Revenue.

If a server used to conduct the wager is physically located on a federally recognized American Indian tribe’s land and the sports wagering operation is authorized under a compact entered into by a tribe and the state of Wisconsin, the bill would allow sports bets to be made by a person located in Wisconsin using a mobile or other electronic device.
