WI Sports Betting Bill Regarding Servers Located on Federally Recognized American Indian Tribal Lands

Circulating in the Wisconsin Legislature is an online sports betting bill, which can be viewed here.
If a server used to conduct the wager is physically located on a federally recognized American Indian tribe’s land and the sports wagering operation is authorized under a compact entered into by a tribe and the state of Wisconsin, the bill would allow sports bets to be made by a person located in Wisconsin using a mobile or other electronic device.
The Wisconsin Legislature is in session year round, and iDEA will continue to monitor these matters.
