Expectation of Suppliers Raises Concern in Ontario

The Attorney General’s office, in concert with the AGCO notified one supplier that their policy will be that they expect suppliers to licensed operators to notify the regulator of any potential illegal activity by the operator.
iDEA has sent a letter to the AGCO/iGO expressing concern over deputizing suppliers to be de facto regulators of operators. The letter also raises concerns about the clear lack of uniform testing requirements that could create unfair advantages for operators who do not have the highest degree of compliance tools deployed.
