Indiana Legislature Officially Starts Session January 9
We are still waiting for Rep. Ethab Manning’s iGaming bill to be introduced. The filing deadline is Jan. 12th, so we expect the bill to be introduced any day and that it will be assigned to the House Public Policy Committee chaired by Rep. Manning.
It’s been confirmed that legislative crossover will be the first week of March-which means we need the bill out of the House by this time.
The iDEA team has a meeting on Jan. 6th with bill sponsor Representative Manning and Senator Ford to discuss grassroots strategy.
The iDEA team is working on an exclusive iDEA stakeholder meeting with Speaker Huston.
iDEA has received the polling data back this week from the selected legislative districts. The data is currently being reviewed, but the first look is very promising.
