New York: Two Gaming-Related Regulatory Proposals in this Week’s State Register

This week’s New York State Register included two gaming-related regulatory proposals.
The first is proposed regulations for sports wagering advertising, marketing, and promotion, including restriction of advertising to colleges and college students. There is a 60-day comment period, which ends on October 1, 2023.
The second is revised regulations regarding the operation of interactive fantasy sports. The first iteration was posted on July 20, 2022, and following an initial comment period, the Commission published these revised regulations in this week’s edition. As these are revised regulations, there is a 45-day comment period which ends on September 16, 2023.
