NC Still Working on Long-Term Budget Bill; Lawmakers to Meet Oct 20

State lawmakers are continuing work on a long-term budget bill, but no progress has been made past the interim approved short-term budget stop-gap. Lawmakers will return and try to finalize the budget on Oct 20.
While there is no indication that a sports betting tax increase will be included, iDEA is monitoring the negotiations.
