Genius Sports is now locked up as the exclusive data provider of the NFL through the 2029 season, the company announced Wednesday. The NFL deal has been a significant win for Genius Sports, especially with the BetVision product. BetVision allows sports bettors to stream NFL games with partnered sportsbooks while seeing live stats and betting opportunities on the page without leaving the game.

Online abuse tied to sports betting decreased during the 2025 NCAA men’s and women’s basketball tournaments, according to NCAA data. The NCAA findings, released Tuesday, are part of a wider effort to monitor, deter, and respond to online harassment as legal sports betting expands nationwide. The decrease coincided with the NCAA’s “Don’t Be a Loser” campaign, which aired throughout the men’s and women’s tournaments and called on fans to stop directing abuse at players, coaches, and officials. The campaign is part of a broader initiative, Draw the Line, that includes integrity partnerships and betting harm education.

Maine

A new bill, revived in a special legislative session, would let Maine’s four federally recognized tribes launch online casinos under a tightly regulated system. The proposal, LD 1164, was tabled earlier this year but is back with bipartisan support and a clear goal: to take online gambling out of the shadows and put it under state oversight. The legislation would allow Maine tribes to partner with platform providers to offer legal online casino games, including slots, blackjack, and even poker. Operators would be taxed at 18%, with revenues feeding a buffet of state funds, from opioid treatment to school renovation grants.

Michigan

Caesars Palace Online Casino has partnered with Inspired Entertainment to bring Caesars Palace Wheel of Wins to Michigan. The hybrid dealer game, which combines live dealer elements with real number generator gameplay, has been popular in New Jersey. The success of the game in the Garden State prompted the expansion into the Michigan iGaming market, said Inspired President and CEO Brooks Pierce.

New titles are coming to the Michigan online casino market. That’s thanks to a partnership between BetMGM Michigan and United Kingdom-based Push Gaming. It’s Push Gaming’s first foray into US online gaming, and the deal will increase BetMGM Michigan’s menu of online casino games. According to BetMGM, its Michigan casino app will soon feature popular Push Gaming titles such as Big Bamboo and 10 Flaming Bisons. The former was named Slot of the Year by Hideous Slots in 2022.

Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania gaming regulators confirmed with PlayPennsylvania on Tuesday that BetRivers Poker is a step away from networking players into the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement. Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board Communications Director Doug Harbach said BetRivers, operated by Rush Street Interactive, has “entered a soft launch for multi-state poker.” Harbach said he expects BetRivers Poker to officially join the MSIGA this week.
