The iDEA-initiated supplier renewal fee fix bill (SB 2973) passed the Senate, but House Executive Chairman Bob Rita did not call the bill for a hearing in the House.
Rep. Rita has agreed to re-file the bill in the 2023 legislative that began on Jan. 11, but he has repeatedly expressed his preference to fix the supplier renewal fee in an omnibus gaming package.
With respect to iGaming, it expected that Senate Executive
Chairwoman Cristina Castro will file a bill in 2023 authorizing
iGaming.
