Amendments added to KY Bill

HB 551 (Meredith) passed the Kentucky House Licensing, Occupations, & Administrative Regulations Committee. During the hearing, it was announced that an amendment would be added to the bill to remove an in-person registration requirement for online sports betting accounts.
The amendment was subsequently filed, and another amendment was filed later that date. On Mar. 9, Rep. Calloway filed two additional amendments – one to prohibit credit cards as a form of payment and another to raise the betting age from 18 to 21.
