Current Party Retains Seats in Ontario Election

The Ontario government held their provincial elections yesterday and in good news the current ruling party retained their seats and power. Had the opposition party won the election it would have created a more difficult environment to engage with them on needed changes to the igaming/sports wagering industry.

iDEA is already planning post-launch strategies to engage with the AGCO and other agencies to seek improvement to the Registrars Standards as they relate to advertising, testing, licensing and addressing the gray (now black) market.
