Georgia Constitutional Amendment Seeks Voter Approval for Sports Betting and Casino Expansion

A constitutional referendum bill was introduced this week which would give Georgia voters the ability to approve the legalization of sports betting and land-based casinos.
The bill can be found here. While this bill is a cleaner approach to legalization, it needs a higher threshold of support in the legislature to get to the ballot.
