Georgia Senate Could Consider Referendum as Soon as Next Week

The Georgia Senate will consider the referendum bill (as required) as soon as next week. This bill will not change provisions within the sports betting bill that passed the Senate last week, except for where tax revenue from sports wagering will be directed.
There is still an effort to pass a bill that removed the constitutional amendment requirement. There have been no developments in the House this week.
