HB 1319 Passes out of the House

HB1319 passed out of the House on March 16th by a 92-43 vote.
The amended version of the bill can be found on the Member Portal. The bill continues to be opposed by two of the six MD casinos, and the other four have concerns about the licensing structure that provides direct access to iGaming licenses.
We are trying to position iGaming to become part of budget negotiations as the state faces a deficit. A Senate hearing on the week of March 25th is likely.
