iDEA Meeting with NY Senator Addabbo

iDEA spoke with Senator Addabbo on January 27 regarding his bill (see comprehensive summary of bill here). His view is that the most likely path for the bill is being part of the budget.
There continues to be opposition from the trade unions who, to date, have been unwilling to negotiate on what they would like to see in the bill.
The continued delay in the downstate land-based casino licenses also is an issue that could hold up meaningful discussion of iGaming this session.
