iDEA Op-ed in North Carolina; Continued Work to Oppose Tax Increases

NC House lawmakers did not include a sports betting tax rate increase in their budget. Earlier this year, the Senate passed their own version of the budget that included doubling the tax rate to 36%. There’s still work to do to ensure that both the House and Senate agree on a final budget bill that won’t  include an increase. iDEA published an op-ed in a local NC media outlet to reinforce our messaging around the tax rate.
