iDEA Submits Model iGaming Bill
We have been engaged with the National Council of Legislators from Gaming States (NCLGS) on their effort to craft a model iGaming bill that can be used by various state lawmakers as they propose new laws in their respective states.
Understanding that each state has a unique dynamic, we have crafted a generalized bill that can serve as a foundational text for any state. This was submitted to NCLGS on Tuesday, June 25th. NCLGS has received input from multiple stakeholders and is now in the process of finalizing their draft which will be shared at their Summer conference, July 17-21. Once that draft is released, they will again be seeking input from industry before a final version is created. iDEA will continue to be engaged in the process. Here is our draft submission.
