Illinois: Update on SB 2973 (supplier licensing fee correction bill)

We expect SB 2973, the supplier licensing fee correction bill, will be heard next week in the Senate Executive Committee.
This is an iDEA-led initiative, and if enacted will result in considerable cost saving for iDEA members who are licensed sports wagering suppliers in the state. A copy of the bill is available here.
There will be an opportunity for stakeholders to express their support for the bill through the legislature’s web-portal. Once info is available, we will share with members.
We are preparing testimony for a hearing on the supplier licensing bill. Chris Nybo, our local lobbyist will present on behalf of iDEA.
