Indiana Gaming Commission iGaming Study

Here is the long-awaited Indiana Gaming Commission iGaming study conducted by Spectrum. The study looks at revenue impact of iGaming on Indiana and also impact of iGaming on land-based gaming. They examine other states with iGaming, with focus on NJ, MI and PA.

Key findings include:

  • Sports betting and iGaming create synergies that increase overall revenues for each vertical
  • iGaming would not negatively impact Indiana casino revenues.
  • Live dealer would create new jobs without threatening existing casino dealer jobs
  • Operator revenue could reach 830m+ by year three
  • Study looks at 3 tax rates (20%, 30% and 45%) with state tax revenues ranging from 160m+ to 370m+ depending on tax structure by year 3.
