Kentucky Sports Betting Rules Likely Public in Coming Week

We expect draft rules for sports betting to be made public in the coming week. Initial intel indicates they will be emergency rules and allow operators that currently have licenses in other states to operate in Kentucky.
The Governor is pushing hard for the state to launch before NFL 2023 season. It was announced that the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission (KHRC) is tentatively planning an early July meeting to review and approve the rules.
