MA to Hold Hearing Regarding H4431

A hearing on H4431 will take place Nov 13, though it is not publicly known. The bill would legalize iGaming and includes provisions which would prohibit sweepstakes style casino games.
Because every bill introduced receives a hearing, this meeting is intended to lay the groundwork for consideration next year rather than drive momentum this year.
iDEA is in contact with the bill sponsor and will be presenting testimony at the hearing. We are also working with lawmakers to arrange a dinner/meeting the night before the hearing with key stakeholders.
